The problem with this printer was suddenly the screen went blank. It would light up and you would only see a row of black squares across the screen. The problem was the CMOS battery. Thats one of the best fixes ever. Super cheap, easy to swap and you can get those batteries anywhere. The CMOS battery is the size of a Necco Wafer and chrome color. It tastes just about the same as Necco wafer though I dont recommend tasting it. Most stores sell those batteries. As long as its a 3V and the same size it will work. The odd part was that the old battery still showed a 3V reading on my tester. Weird. Just FYI this printer will also work on a MAC. Its one of the few. Macs still stink that way.
