MG Price: The MG Hector is priced between Rs 12.18 lakh and Rs 16.88 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom India)

MG Hector Variants & Colour Options: The Hector is available in four variants: Style, Super, Smart and Sharp. Five colours are on offer: white, silver, black, burgundy red and blaze red -- but the colour choice depends on the variant.

MG Hector Powertrains: The MG Hector is available with two petrol and one diesel engine option to choose from. The petrol engine is a 1.5-litre turbocharged unit capable of producing 143PS of maximum power and 250Nm of torque. The diesel engine is the same 2.0-litre unit that powers the Compass. Here, it produces 170PS and 350Nm. The Hector also gets a mild hybrid variant which is equipped with a 48V mild hybrid system mated to the 1.5-litre petrol engine. Both the engines are coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard while the non-hybrid petrol engine gets an optional 7-speed dual-clutch transmission as well.

MG Hector Features: The Hector’s standout feature is its large 10.4-inch touchscreen infotainment which gets in-built internet connectivity, iSmart mobile application-based AC control as well as door lock and unlock. It is also equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a 7-inch colour MID, 360 degree camera, electronic parking brake and up to six airbags. The standard set of safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, traction control, rear disc brakes, hill hold assist and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
