I recently tried a new-to-me bind-off technique for a bottom-up skirt design that required elastic at the waist, and I gotta say…I'm kind of in love. This bind-off combines Kitchener & Duplicate Stitch and results in a super stretchy, folded hem. You can use this bind-off to create a channel for elastic - like I did, or you can use it for any edge that you would like to be nice and neat - the bottom hem of a top-down sweater for example. A basic knowledge of Kitchener & Duplicate Stitch is useful but not required for this tutorial.
