Capstone project for an Astronomy class. I could have done a PowerPoint, but for some silly reason, I thought animating the whole thing was a good idea. (It wasn't)
To avoid background noise, I recorded the entire voice-over in the back of a car. This actually worked really well - aside from being a quiet environment, the seat cushions made for fantastic acoustic dampening, and I was able to fashion a makeshift shock-mount for my mic out of some bungee cords.
Edited in Premiere.
Animated in Flash.
(I am never using Flash again.)
