Bali, Indonesia Vlog 🇮🇩 | Ubud Monkey Forest, Last 2 Nights at Padma Resort

Padma Resort Ubud isn't located in Ubud town, which is why they have so much space and can offer amenities like the animal farm, fishing pond, mini farm, and walking/running trail. Fortunately, the resort offers a free shuttle to and from Ubud town at set times throughout the day. When there's traffic, it takes around 45 minutes to get into town. We spent one day (about 7 hours) in Ubud town and could have spent much more time there. We went to the famous Monkey Forest, did a bit of shopping, and had so much delicious food.

Beware of the monkeys! We knew beforehand that we shouldn't carry any water bottles or food on us because the monkeys are known to aggressively go for for and drink items. Imagine our surprise when one of the monkeys attacked Glo's shopping bag. It only had clothes and receipts in it, but the monkey must have wanted to confirm for itself. There was a tug-o-war struggle between Glo and the monkey that seemed like it lasted for ages but was probably all of 60 seconds long. Fortunately, the monkey ran off in the end and none of Glo's clothing items were harmed in the process. Phew!

This vlog documents our last two nights in Bali. We were sad to go but left with so many wonderful memories. We can't wait to plan another trip there hopefully in the not too distant future!
