The background of the stories in "Slow and Easy Chinese" Album : Xiaomei is a student abroad. A week ago, she left hometown by plane, and arrived at Fenghua University in Shanghai, China, where she began her life as an international student. She think everything here is new and interesting, and decided to write a diary every day.
故事背景：小美是个留学生，一个星期以前，她坐飞机离开家乡，来到中国上海风华大学，开始了留学生生活。她觉得这里的一切都很新鲜、很有趣，决定每天写日记。
Transcript:
日记一：我有一间宿舍
今天我去风华大学报到，
老师说学校有宿舍，
我很高兴！
因为在上海租房很贵，
我想住宿舍，
宿舍安全、干净、方便，而且不贵！
校园很大，有很多宿舍楼，
我找了一个小时，
好不容易找到了M楼。
M楼很高，有一百个房间，
我住在二楼202号房间。
宿舍里有一张床、一张书桌、一把椅子和一个很大的衣柜，
还有一面镜子，我很满意！
新的生活开始啦，
今天就写到这儿吧！
