The 1000 series cars were built by Rohr Industries between 1974 and 1978
The 2000 series cars were built by Breda Costruzioni Ferroviarie between 1983 and 1984
The 3000 series cars were built by Breda Costruzioni Ferroviarie between 1984 and 1988
The 4000 series cars were built by Breda Costruzioni Ferroviarie between 1992 and 1994 (These cars are soon to be retired)
The 5000 series cars were built by CAF Industries between 2001 and 2004
The 6000 series cars were built by Alstom Transportation between 2005 and 2007
The 7000 series cars have been built by Kawasaki Heavy Industries since 2012
