As the world shifts from traditional media to social media, camera companies have been rushing to release new cameras and lenses every quarter. With each newly released camera there are more features, more megapixels…(montage of clips from people talking about cameras “better”) but there is one camera that stands in the face of all of that. One camera that has kept its same design, same size, and same feature set since the first one was released in 2011…and that camera is the X100V.
But why has this camera not changed? What is it about it that draws an almost cult like following? And what were some of the values that were kept in mind when they were engineering this camera? In this episode, we try to answer this question.
