While there are many reasons I had to leave, I'm willing to share with you the truth about my deeply personal reason for leaving Vancouver Island.

The mother-in-law doesn't seem to be getting the message and I am deeply offended that she never even read my book. Not only does she worship Adam Gibbs, she even bought his merch! And you wonder why I had to leave BC?

I will always love the Island, but there are other beautiful parts of Canada that are just waiting for new landscape photography adventures to begin.

Join us as we wave goodbye to the Pacific side of Canada and embark on the journey of a lifetime with new shores in our sites.

As a going-away present, we get visited by some very spirited Orcas but of course, Jenny is having none of it!

Will we escape BC without giving a forwarding address? Will those killer whales come too close to shore while Amanda dips her toes in the water and will I be winning any wildlife photography awards in such a state of anger?
