CAN THIS OLD SNOW PLOW CYLINDER BE FIXED??

Today we’re working on a Meyer E47 lift cylinder. The unit would not lift the plow and was leaking oil everywhere. During the rebuild I noticed the cylinder was pretty ugly on the inside.

I went ahead and used a brake cylinder hone to clean it up. It’s not the prettiest when finished but I did finish the rebuild and get the plow back on the truck. It is working strong and holding the blade solid. So I call this a win!!
