Day 19 - Cover your armor

Prayer Focus for Today: Cover Your Armor led by   / jaimiedebony  

Pray that each piece of armor is secured and active in your life. Ask the Lord to help you walk in truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation daily. Pray that truth guards your thinking, righteousness shapes your actions, peace stabilizes your steps, faith extinguishes doubt and fear, and salvation anchors your identity. Ask God to keep every piece of armor firmly in place so nothing can penetrate or weaken you according to Ephesians 6:14–17 MSG Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Pray that you would regularly examine your faith, posture, and spiritual condition to ensure you are fully aligned and properly armored. Ask the Lord to reveal any areas of vulnerability, compromise, or neglect where armor may be loose, missing, or underused. Pray that you would remain aware that Christ lives in you, strengthening your identity, authority, and ability to stand firm. Ask God to help you stay spiritually alert and anchored so your armor remains effective and intact according to 2 Corinthians 13:5 (NKJV) Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? unless indeed you are disqualified.

Pray that you would walk in confidence and alignment with God’s order for your life, trusting that what He has predestined, He has already secured. Ask the Lord to help you fully receive your calling, embrace the justification He has given you through Christ, and walk boldly in the glory He is leading you into according to Romans 8:30 KJV Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
