Some Clarity on Dot net MAUI

Just some clarity about weather some parts of it were based on WPF or WIN UI 3 during its early development phase, its release was delayed, then I around that time some people were saying WIN UI 3 was buggy and not usable, was the delay in release of Dot net MAUI as a result of the buggy nature of Win UI 3 prior to rolling out dot net 6 or some thing.

The middle layer and the lower layers of dot net MAUI are indeed dot net MAUI and are a different fundamental from even Xamarin, its the upper layers that seem to borrow a lot from WPF but, that might not be the case but does borrow from WIN UI 3 from the initial research I did, but there are frameworks that do borrow from WPF that are Avalonia and Uno framework
