The Great Tulip Festival of Skagit Valley in 2021

Spring is upon us and one of the best things to do in spring (besides going on hikes) is visiting the Tulip festival located in Skagit Valley.

During April 1 through April 30, Skagit valley opens up its tourism for viewing the vast tulips and dandelions located in Skagit Valley.

Skagit Valley is known primarily for its tulip viewing as well as their vast fields of daffodils located across the region. If you want a more in-depth viewing of the tulips, Skagit Valley has 2 main locations that people visit to view the tulips:

1) Visiting Tulip Town - https://tuliptown.com/
2) Visiting Roozengaarde - https://www.tulips.com/

Ticket prices for both Tulip Town and Roozengaarde are $15 per person. Parking is already including in the ticket price.

Unfortunately, when we arrived at Tulip town, we were disappointed of the fact that the tulips were still not in bloom. Although the website states that the Tulip Festival is from April 1 - 30, the tulips were still not in bloom. As a result, we did not get the proper experience we were hoping for.

I would HIGHLY recommend that everyone visit Skagit Valley during the 3rd or last week of April in order to maximize your time and maximize the amount of tulips and dandelions you'll be able to see. Considering that it's a relatively far drive, might as well make the trip worth it!

I will likely come back again during those weeks in April to get a better viewing of the Tulips in Skagit Valley.

Christianson's Nursery & Greenhouse - https://www.christiansonsnursery.com/

If you really love gardening and looking to supplement and further add to your yard, you DEFINITELY must come visit Christianson's nursery.

They have a plethora of everything you could possibly want to add to your garden so if they don't have it at Christianson's, then it probably doesn't exist!
