Nedumbassery Drug Bust | നെടുമ്പാശേരി വിമാനത്താവളത്തിൽ 4കോടി രൂപയുടെ ലഹരി പിടികൂടി. ടോഗോ സ്വദേശിനിയിൽ നിന്നാണ് മയക്കുമരുന്ന് പിടികൂടിയത്. നാല് കിലോ മെതാക്വലോണാണ് പിടിച്ചത്.സെഡേറ്റീവ്-ഹിപ്നോട്ടിക് മരുന്നായ മെതാക്വലോൺ പൊടി രൂപത്തിലാണ് കടത്താൻ ശ്രമിച്ചത്. രണ്ട് പായ്ക്കറ്റുകളാണ് കസ്റ്റംസും സിയാൽ സുരക്ഷ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരും ചേർന്ന് പിടിച്ചെടുത്തത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ ദിവസം ബാങ്ക് ജീവനക്കാരൻ അടക്കം അഞ്ച് പേർ കൊച്ചിയിൽ വിവിധ സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് ലഹരിമരുന്നുമായി പിടിയിലായിരുന്നു.

Drugs worth ₹4 crore were seized at Nedumbassery Airport. The narcotics were recovered from a Togolese woman. Four kilograms of methaqualone were seized. The sedative-hypnotic drug methaqualone was being smuggled in powder form. Two packets were confiscated jointly by Customs and CIAL security officials. Recently, five people, including a bank employee, were arrested from various locations in Kochi with narcotic substances.
