Ao Nang (Thai: อ่าวนาง) is a resort town on the coast of Thailand in Krabi province, located 20 km from Krabi town.
In Thai, its name means "Princess Bay."
Features of the resort:
Limestone cliffs of bizarre shapes. You can try climbing one of them or admire them during sunset from one of the cozy restaurants.
Gentle entry into the sea along almost the entire coast of Ao Nang Bay.
Well-developed infrastructure. There are many restaurants, shops, and tour agencies here.
A major transportation hub for Krabi province. From here, it's easy to get to paradise islands, such as Phi Phi.
