Trip to Medellin and meeting with Pablo Escobar's sister

Colombia was the last country I visited during my trip through South America. The main goal of my journey was, of course, to visit Medellin and places associated with Pablo Escobar. Fortunately, I met Alex in Medellin, who is closely connected with Pablo Escobar's family. Thanks to his kindness, I managed to arrange a meeting with Gloria Escobar, Pablo's sister, who invited me to her private home.

There, I had the opportunity to see many memorabilia of Pablo, including furniture with hidden compartments where he kept money. It was an unforgettable lesson in Colombian history and culture for me. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to visit La Catedral prison, but meeting Gloria and seeing her private collection related to Pablo was a sufficient experience for me.

Medellin is a city full of contrasts and history, and the Colombian hospitality and warmth of the people I met there will always remain in my heart. It was truly an unforgettable trip.
