In this video I will show you how to make buttons with all kinds of different finishes, using Dura-Lar transparent film. Dura-lar can be printed in most laser printers and used instead of mylar to make buttons with interesting backgrounds. It can be layered over many different types of materials, I recommend using something about the same weight at regular paper so as not to jam your machine! I recommend trying things like metallic foil, holographic foil, reflective or glow-in-the-dark tape, thin fabric, or book pages or maps!
You will need:
Button press
Shells
Printed 8.5x11" Duralar
A laser printer
Something to layer under your Dura-Lar (see description)
Button Backs
(You can make any type of product that works in your machine with this method, make sure to use parts compatible with the size and type of machine you have - you do not need mylar for this project!)
