Family leave or parental leave as it can sometimes be called, is very important for families. In this video, Jason explains what paternity leave is and why it is so important.

While woman have had issues around maternity leave for years, there is a new problem emerging in the workplace. Men are being offered paternity leave and they are not taking it. The Family Leave Act in the US protects only a small percentage of people. The Act allows people to take off of work when having or adopting a baby with risk of losing their position.

We are also finding out that paternity is good for business. As fathers are involved with their families, they are happier and more stable. This produces more effective and productive employees.
