(500 SUBS SPECIAL/RETIRED) Foothill Transit 2006 NABI 40-LFW CNG

After 2.5 years of creating transit videos across SoCal, I have just reached the 500 subscribers mark! I wanna thank everyone for supporting my videos and for commenting on them as well! Now onto our special presentation...

A couple weeks ago during the last week of May 2021, I've gotten word that Foothill Transit's 2006 NABI 40-LFWs were in their final days of service, and after looking at TransSee during one of their final days, I decided to catch the first unit of 10 in this series, F1500, on the eastbound 480 from Pomona to Montclair, mainly because it was a more accessible line that I could get to, and I could also take the Silver Streak back to Pomona. In addition, it was also my first time back at Pomona Transit Center in almost 6 months back when I was capturing the F1600s in their final weeks. When F1500 arrived at Pomona, I was surprised to see that this unit still had rear door boarding and hence I didn't have to use my TAP card this time. Once I was on board, I was also treated to the AC unit being turned off so that made it even easier to hear the C-Gas Plus engine on this unit. I filmed the first few minutes from PTC to Mission & East End as well as the last few minutes from Claremont Transit Center to Montclair, where the driver would take a short bathroom break before heading to the layover. I also filmed a full GoPro version which will be released in the next video!
