The city of dreams, Mumbai, holds a competition for women. Priya Sharma goes to the registration desk to register her sister's name, Aisha. Business tycoon Ram Kapoor rushes to her sister Ipshikha's wedding. As a teacher, Priya instills in her students the importance of love and marriage. Since his mother failed to give him instructions to do a small ritual at the marriage ceremony, Ram is extremely offended. He feels alone. Are Ram and Priya going to meet? Will they get romantically involved? What awaits them in the hands of fate?

Bade Acche Laggte Hai tells the story of two strangers who get married and fall in love. Priya is a happy, easygoing lady in her early thirties who is positive she would never be able to marry. She is happy with her life and takes college student fees. Ram Kapoor, a prosperous businessman in his early forties, believes he has fallen behind in marriage and is a cruel businessman. But as fate would have it, they cross paths accidentally in a minor car crash that harms their egos more than their vehicles. After a series of miscommunications and misunderstandings, fate arranges for the two to get married again.What additional surprises are Priya and Ram going to experience? Will they get romantically involved?
