BMW E60/61 Automatic Transmission Mechatronic DIY Service Part 1

See me bumble through replacing the fluid, solenoids, sealing sleves in my ZF 6HP-19X Automatic Transmission from my 2006 530Xi.
Fix many common transmission problems and codes. Stops jerking and slipping unless your gearbox is totally effed. If you lower the pan and it has metal chunks in it then it's effed.

Here's my notes:

1 Remove panels 8mm
2 Remove drive shaft, block wheels E10
3 Test fill bolt 8mm allan
4 Drain transmission 10mm Hex bolt
5 Remove connector plug; turn ring counter clockwise
6 Put the drain plug back
7 Remove pan t40 screws (save some bolts to lower pan slowly cause it will drip
8 Push white clip down to unclip mechatronic unit
9 remove plug adaptor sleeve, pry with long screwdriver
10 Remove mechatronic, t40 all the t40 bolts need to be removed (3 in the back are short) DON'T DROP IT
11 Remove sleeve in Mechatronic looks like window
12 Pull out the sleeves out of the transmission carefully one at a time and replace one at a time
13 Mechatronic Solenoid Service
14 T27 Torx bit to remove six bolts anchoring electronix (see diagram)
15 remove the module carefully starting at the solenoids and moving down the sides.
16 T27 torx to remove the nine bolts holding the solenoid retaining clip
17 replace solenoids one by one
18 replace retaining plate 6Nm
19 replace the module, make sure the plastic clip lines up with the selector piston. CAREFUL 6Nm
20 Reinstall mechatronic make sure gear selector fits into mechatronic correctly
tighten bolts by hand 8nm
21 reinstall connector push tab and push adaptor at the same time.
22 reinstall connector clockwise.
23 reinstall pan (lubricate o ring on the pan, make sure old o ring is gone)
24 reinstall pan bolts by hand and torque according to spec from included sheet.
25 fill cold, then when it pours out turn car on and cycle through PRND and the gears to get the pump going.
26 When transmission reaches 40C 104F fill the rest until fluid pours out
27 Tighten fill plug 32Nm
28 Reinstall drive shaft 20Nm
