Southeastern Community College just made history with our first-ever ACCESS Open House during National Apprenticeship Week! Over 230 high school students explored career pathways, showcased their skills in hands-on demonstrations, and connected with industry leaders through speed networking. 🛠🎉
Highlights include:
✅ Signing ceremonies for Healthcare and Teacher Prep apprenticeships
✅ Hands-on skills showcases judged by local employers
✅ Speed networking sessions with industry leaders
✅ A celebration of powerful partnerships to build a workforce pipeline
“Today will go down in history for the college,” said Dr. Chris English, SCC President. “It’s a day that showed powerful partnerships with Whiteville City Schools, Columbus County Schools and the county commissioners to build a workforce pipeline. This will be a day to remember for years to come.”
