Hi there! Spalding peacocks/peahens are actualy hybrid birds between two species of peafowl i.e. Green java and Indian Blue. They have mixed characteristics of both species. You can see such a male and female in this video. A bird with more than 75% green blood was used to called as emerald Spalding.
