Okay for those of you who want to see the difference between double jointed and single jointed snaffle bits.
These are two egg butt bits. Both are good bits, but they do work differently.
The mullen or 3 piece bit, isolates the bar area and gives the relief across the tongue.
The standard 2 piece or single jointed bit, can act like a lever if the horse has a shallow pallet.
Both can be used, but you can see which one works better for each horse.
