The magnificent L-29 Cord! The First production Front Wheel Drive Car in America! ACD Factory!

The L-29 Cord was a special automobile. It was the first, regular production model available in the U.S. with front wheel drive. Front wheel drive is very common today, and this car is where it started!

The Auburn Cord Duesneberg co. in Broken Arrow Oklahoma is the place to be for parts, repair and restorations of these phenomenal cars! We spend a lot of time here with Adam and Doug Pray and they Always have a lot of 810 and 812 Cords around that they are doing maintenance, repairs, or full restorations on, but this is the first time we've had the opportunity to spend some time with a L-29!!!
