After over a year and 3,500 miles on the Naxeon I Am Pro, I’m sharing my honest thoughts on this electric commuter motorcycle. From performance and charging to build quality and real-world comfort, here’s everything you need to know before considering one.
Key Highlights:
Performance: Smooth acceleration, top speed of 80 mph in Turbo mode, perfect for commuting, not racing.
Riding Modes: Zigzag mode for full power, Sail mode with regenerative braking for longer range.
Range: Up to 125 miles with careful regenerative riding; aggressive riding gives around 80 miles.
Charging: Easy and affordable, with street chargers often free. Home charging options include 120V, 220V booster, or dryer outlet adapter for stability.
Build Quality: Solid, cohesive design built from the ground up. Tires, frame, and components have held up well.
Comfort: Seat is good for short rides; I added a cushion for longer trips.
Features: Front and rear cameras are great for emergencies. GPS and tracking are behind a paywall.
Maintenance: Minimal—only check bolts, connections, tires, and brakes. No maintenance costs in 3,500 miles.
Reliability: Minor software bugs, but responsive support and regular updates.
Other Notes: Quiet ride, no engine warm-up needed, traction control off for quick starts, back on for rain.
Overall, the Naxeon I Am Pro is a reliable, low-maintenance, money-saving commuter bike that’s a joy to ride. Minor issues exist, but they don’t affect the overall experience.
