Merlin & Morgana - Here With Me

Story:
Morgana has been dreaming about being with Merlin, which makes her reflect on how she always feels trapped as the "Lady Morgana" but with him it isn't so bad as she can be who she really is, leading her to realise she loves him and has done all along. When this is realised she goes to see him and tell him how she feels and how nothing matters to her without him. But Merlin tells her they can't be together, it doesn't matter whether he shares her feelings or not, he is just a servant and he knows his place which is without her as they can never be, she is too far above him for it to be possible.
The next day Morgana tries to make him see that she still has hope for them being together somehow, but Merlin is resolved - if the King knew it would be trouble for them both and leaves. That night Morgana is having bad dreams, and thinks about a memory of them together, making her mourn the loss of Merlin as not just her love, but also as her friend.
That night Merlin can't sleep either - he is in turmoil, he realises he can't survive without Morgana and knows he needs her "here with me" and resolves to tell her this, but on the way there all the reasons that made him deny his love for her originally resurfices and he knows he has to protect her no matter what that'll do to him and his heart in the process. Although he tells her how he doesn't want to lose their friendship, inside he is thinking how without her he "Can't be everything I try to" and Morgana thinks about how Merlin always, "save me from the everything I couldn't be..." and they resolve to put what has been said behind them.
It is only when Merlin see's her looking out her window and they share a glance with one another and she turns away that he realises what such a clotpot he is being, and to damn the rules, as the rules are wrong! All the reasons for them being apart don't matter, as you don't choose who you fall in love with. So when he visits her that night once more under the pretence of delivering her evening sleeping draught for Gaius he decides to tell her how he truly does love her and that they will sort something out, the King won't be alive forever, and if they truly love one another and their love is strong enough it'll withstand anything. Merlin is willing to wait no matter how long it takes, as long as that is what she wants. But after being denied for so long, what will Morgana choose?
