Autumn around Imperial Palace

Join me for a special winter walk through the heart of Tokyo! Today, we’re visiting some of the city's most iconic landmarks during a very rare time of year.
In this video:
• Imperial Palace Inui Street: We enter through the usually off-limits Sakashitamon Gate to walk the 750-meter-long tree-lined Inui Street. It’s a rare privilege to see both the autumn foliage and the rare Winter Sakura blooming together!
• Yasukuni Jinja Shrine: We visit the massive steel Torii gate (25m tall!) and see the "official" representative cherry tree used to announce the start of spring in Tokyo.
• Nippon Budokan: We stopped by the legendary venue just as the rehearsal for the AKB48 20th Year LIVE Tour 2025 was happening! The energy and the beautiful flower stands from fans were incredible.
• Kitanomaru Garden: To end the day, we found the perfect quiet escape from the Tokyo crowds.
