Testimony

“In life, we don’t always choose the hand we are dealt.”
Sometimes pain arrives with no explanation.
Sickness knocks on the door we never opened.
Loss finds us when we were already fragile.
Life hits hard in places we didn’t even know could break.

I used to ask myself, “Why me? What did I do wrong? Why this battle… why this storm?”
And the truth is — sometimes there is no reason.
Sometimes we walk through valleys we never caused, carrying weights we never asked for.

But even in the darkest places…
even when the sickness, the fear, the confusion make life feel unfair…
God does not waste pain.

I didn’t know it then,
but the very battles that tried to destroy me
were the ones God would use to build me.

He met me in places I thought were hopeless.
He breathed strength into a heart that felt tired and unseen.
He took the broken pieces and began quietly shaping a story I couldn’t yet understand.

Because that’s who He is:
The God who steps into unfair seasons.
The God who restores what life steals.
The God who lifts us when we don’t have anything left to give.

My testimony didn’t start with victory.
It started with questions…
with tears…
with “Why this, Lord?”

But now I see —
the hand I was dealt became the place where His hand held mine.
And every battle became a chapter in a story He is still writing.

This is only the beginning.
My picture is not finished yet.
And neither is yours.
