Mutanjan Rice | Perfect Mutanjan Rice | Sweet Rice Recipe

Recipe & Ingredients

Boil 1 kg Sella rice fully and add 5/6 cloves while boiling.

Now take some rice in three separate bowls and add 3 different colors to each to color them and keep aside.

In a pan add 3-4 tbsp desi ghee and add 50g Pistachio, 50g Almonds, 50g Coconut flakes and 50g Raisins. Fry them for 2-3 minutes.

Now in a pan add 150-200g desi ghee and and 1 tsp cardamom powder. Cook for a minute and add 1 kg sugar. Let it cook for 2 minutes and add 1-1/2 cup water. Now cook sugar until it completely melts and dissolves. Now add boiled rice and cook for 8-10 minutes until the water dries.

Now add all the colores rice on top and all the dry fruits we fried in ghee on top of rice. Add 500g khoya on it with some pieces of cham cham mithai. Cook this on dum for 15 minutes and Matanjan Rice are ready to be served
