Kayak Sea Fishing UK - Lure Fishing for Pollack and Cod - Dunstanburgh Castle - Craster

A beautiful autumn day out of Craster on the North East Coast catching cod and pollack on lures and light gear. Fishing the rough ground to the north of the harbour saw some cracking sport with fish coming to soft plastics. Fishing after a big southerly sea meant the water was carrying a bit of colour but that didn't put the fish off with the Fiiish Black Minnow taking cod, pollack and pouting throughout the day. Dunstanburgh Castle sits on my favourite stretch of coastline in Northumberland between Cullernose Point and Beadnell and it rarely disappoints.
