In today’s video, we invite you to join our little off-grid family on a beautiful day full of joy, hard work, and delicious food as we harvest bananas using our handmade wooden electric car, and then turn the banana tree into a heartwarming homemade meal.

As a dwarf family living in the peaceful countryside, far from the hustle and bustle of city life, we rely on natural resources, traditional skills, and each other to build a meaningful and sustainable life. Thanks to the thoughtful gift from our dear friend ND – Woodworking Art, our life has become a little easier. The wooden electric car he built for us has helped with transportation, farming, and more—especially during big harvest days like this one.

Today, we take that wooden car deep into our banana garden to harvest ripe banana bunches. With the help of our two daughters and our little one, we carefully cut the bananas from the trees, load them onto the vehicle, and bring them back home. The happiness on our children’s faces and the teamwork among family members make every moment truly special.

But the story doesn’t end at the harvest.

After collecting the bananas, we shift to the kitchen where our family prepares a delicious meal using not only the fruit—but also other parts of the banana plant. That’s right! Living off-grid has taught us to waste nothing. From banana blossoms to stems and leaves, everything can be turned into something useful or tasty. In this video, you’ll see us make traditional banana cakes, cook with banana blossoms, and use the leaves for wrapping and steaming. It’s all about using what nature gives us to the fullest.

Our cooking is simple but full of love. We use firewood from the forest, pots passed down through generations, and recipes that connect us to our roots. The children also join in the cooking process, learning how to wash, cut, and prepare food with care and excitement.

The scent of bananas and firewood fills the air as we gather around to enjoy our handmade meal.
