Field To Frequency explores the basics of field recording and transforms found sounds into complex Techno productions. This episode features PS11, a Producer/DJ based in Troy, New York. We explore the urban sprawl of Troy and discover spaces that offer industrial soundscapes suited for Techno production. Field recordings are returned to PS11’s studio, where sounds are processed and produced into a working idea for a Techno song.
