Kemono Friends FIGHT! [けもフレふぁいと！] Game Sample - PC/Doujin

I have been away for a while, but I have a few interesting uploads I am working on, with this being the first! Some may be delighted to see this...and yes, it is REAL! This is a fighting game from the "prolific" doujin circle "Studio S" (perhaps most known these days for their "Super Strip Fighter" games) that is based on the "hit" media franchise, Kemono Friends (けものフレンズ)! Kemono Friends is currently something of a hit, but to explain a bit, it wasn't always popular. Reception to KF started out rather lukewarm...however, over time, people began to appreciate it more, so it started out as something of a "slow burner". That said though, relating to this game, if you are familiar with Studio S, you know they make a lot of hentai/ryona/adult (dealing with nudity, etc.) games. This game is NOT ONE OF THOSE GAMES. That may be good or bad news to you, but they decided to keep this one friendly. I don't really mind either way.

To give a basic rundown of KF, it primarily deals with a place known as Japari Park, where all sorts of animals live...but one day, a mysterious substance known as "Sandstar" changes the creatures there into human/creature hybrid girls...because Japan, right? Joking aside, there probably is a lot more behind it, but Kemono Friends is still relatively new (with a second season and second game in production as of this typing)...I won't say anything else because I don't want to spoil anything. The plot of this game isn't really anything deep; it deals with a conversation among friends (and Kaban, the main character and a girl with a hat and handy bag) that deals with seeing who is the most capable to go up against a big bad known as "Cerulean". Naturally, they figure that the best way to figure that out is for the friends to fight each other to see who is the best.

Kemo (as I will call the fighting game...it is actually "Kemofure FIGHT!") is really a more polished, diversified version of an earlier Studio S project known as "Mommus Fight!" (It is really supposed to be "Monmusume Fight!", but they put Mommus Fight! in English...the characters are モン娘★ファイト！) --- The fighting engine appears more or less the same, except characters have two super moves in Kemo instead of one, so the combo and battle diversity is greater. The battle system is pretty simple, with one key twist that is critical to understand...but first, the general stuff.

The game has a modest roster of characters (I am assuming they went with most of the popular ones) and by downloading the latest updater, you gain access to the alpaca, jaguar, and hippo gals. The input style is something of an "easy mode"...special moves are performed with one button that can be pressed by itself, or combined with a direction. Forward+Special, for example, performs a different special from just pressing the special button or Down+Special. Also, there is a button you press to instantly do super attacks. Pressing it on the ground will let you use one super move, while pressing it in the air allows you to do another super move.

The game has a lot of flexibility in regards to special cancellations (you can even cancel a special into another special or a super attack), but you must be mindful of your "Special Attack Gauge" --- you can only perform up to three special attacks in a row. Trying to spam more than that without the proper energy will cause your character to become vulnerable to attack. You can charge your energy faster by pressing Down+Super and can throw by pressing Away+Special.

Now, to build super attack energy, you either must hit your opponent with knockback blows, or take damage from your opponent...there is a super button, attack button (pressing this multiple times will create a combo), special button, and a knockback attack button...there is a good tutorial that has been translated that explains in full detail (I am running out of room for text).
