Hydrangea is a herbaceous plant with asexual flowers. Most hydrangea species have white flowers, however a few species (typically H. macrophylla) have flower colors that change depending on the pH of the soil, at first white flowers then gradually turn blue or pink , flower color depends on the pH of the soil, prefers low humidity shade, this is a cool climate species of about 15 to 25 degrees Celsius.
