Sky News can reveal that nearly 100 British troops may have been exposed to sodium dichromate while guarding the Qarmat Ali water treatment plant during the Iraq War in 2003.
The RAF soldiers have spoken of their cancer battles and daily nosebleeds after being exposed to the deadly chemical, which can cause cancer.
