What Camerons Car Reviews has to say about the Durango: The Durango has came a long way since it debuted in 1998 from competing with midsize SUV's in it's first generation and then competing with full size body on frame SUV's in it's second generation. This generation has been out since 2011 and has found it's way to many customers for it's ample power and great towing capabilities. For 2014 the Durango sees a mid cycle refresh with upgraded styling treatments and more features. Power comes from a 3.6 L V6 or you can opt for a 5.7 L HEMI V8 which is extremely powerful and one of the most powerful power trains in it's class. Everything is also made into a 8-Speed Automatic with AWD being optional. So with it's superb styling and powerful powertrains as well as a generous amount of standard and optional features. What's to give? Well the Durango falls slightly short on cargo room compared to it's competitors that's not to say that it isn't roomy. So with these updates it certainly comes clear that the 2014 Durango is one of the best if not the best in it's class.
