Learn how endophytic bacteria isolated from natural habitats are screened for biocontrol of plant diseases. Discover how the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research’s (IALR) bacterial endophyte library of more than 2,000 is rapidly assayed in vitro and how promising bacteria are further tested for commercial value in the greenhouse and field. Summaries of past experiments will be shared. The promising endophytes identified by members at the Plant Endophyte Research Center of IALR are a resource for new business opportunities and further collaboration with universities for setting agricultural technology trends.
