engaluru, India – February 6, 2024 – The annual sports day at The Cambridge International School Whitefield Campus (TCIS Whitefield) for Foundational Years (Pre Primary to Grade 2) was inaugurated by 27-times International Billiards Champion and Arjuna Awardee Padma Bhushan Pankaj Advani.
In his address, Pankaj Advani appreciated the efforts by TCIS in giving equal importance to academics and co-curricular activities, thereby creating a holistic development environment for the children. He said that the new-age parents are recognizing the role of co-curricular involvements like sports in moulding children towards academic and holistic improvements. He was impressed by the special efforts made by TCIS in supporting children's sport-appetite, by providing world-class facilities, quality coaching and right encouragement to nurture young talent. He hope that such initiatives made by progressive schools like TCIS shall act as a beacon for all schools to follow.
