Beautiful Air New Zealand All Black Bombardier Dash 8 Q300 Touching down at Blenheim Airport!

The Bombardier Dash 8-300, also known as the DHC-8-300, is a regional turboprop aircraft designed and built by Bombardier Aerospace. It was first introduced in 1988 as an upgraded version of the Dash 8-100 and can seat up to 56 passengers.

The Dash 8-300 is powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW123B turboprop engines, which allow it to cruise at a speed of around 485 kilometers per hour (300 miles per hour) and reach a range of up to 1,800 kilometers (1,100 miles).

The aircraft has been used for a variety of purposes, including regional passenger flights, cargo operations, and military transport. It has also been popular among airlines for its reliability, low operating costs, and short takeoff and landing capabilities.
