Good afternoon everyone! Welcome to a final walk-through of the old Naval Base Subic Bay Theater on Dewey Avenue, one of the most historic spots in the Philippines.

This theater is a piece of living history, a former U.S. Navy facility that thousands of US service members and their families have visited over the decades. On our tour, we'll experience a little bit of the base's past, and get a peek into the future, as this theater is being revitalized and transformed into a multi-purpose entertainment venue.

The theater is being restored. From 1950s glamour, when it was a movie theater frequented by Navy personnel and families. Now it is being restored as part of a project to bring the facility back to life.

We'll start our tour inside the theater, exploring the auditorium, lobby, refreshment stand, and projection room.

From the lobby, we'll head into the auditorium. We'll explore the history of the theater, while some of you post some of the historic films that were shown during its time as a movie theater.

From the auditorium, we'll move on to the refreshment stand. The looks have changed drastically but the feeling of chills run down your back. As you get a glimpse you can imagine stepping back into time. The 1950s when visitors used to explore the snacks and drinks that were once served to patrons.

We'll finish our tour by exploring the projection room, where we can get a sense of the complex machinery that was involved in bringing the movies to life.
