BBC Breakfast viewers were unimpressed after host Naga Munchetty pressed Kemi Badenoch for not watching Adolescence, a Netflix drama sparking debate about youth, social media, and toxic masculinity.

During the interview, Badenoch admitted she hadn’t seen it, saying she was focused on visiting schools and addressing real-life issues. Naga interrupted, insisting, “Everyone is talking about it,” and questioned why Badenoch wouldn’t watch something so widely discussed.

Badenoch responded that she doesn't need fiction to understand serious issues, comparing it to not needing to watch Casualty to know about NHS problems.
