"I think what we do is we create leaders. We find the people who have some sort of ability to be front runners, and people who can challenge each other and challenge others, and aren't afraid to go against the status quo. I think as teachers and educators, we find those kids who can truly be the leaders we need them to be."
Jeff McQuinn has been with GIPS for 13 years and serves as a strength coach and the GISH head football coach. For McQuinn, coaching football is more than just the fundamentals of the game: it's about mentoring and caring for students so they grow into strong leaders.
