Corvette C7 disguised as a Chevrolet G10 Sport Van - Insane build!

Basic information and History
Ford's motorsport department has a long tradition of building sports tails for various events and testing new technology. General Motors, on the other hand, has not had the same tradition. Have you ever wondered what it would look like if GM built a sports van on the G10 model, you don't have to think anymore. The internationally recognized company Caresto headed by Leif Tufvesson, known for, among other things, his Batmobile, Gumball 3000 build and many other fantastic creations, has made a splash and done exactly this.

This absolutely unique Chevrolet G10 Sport Van from 1978 is something out of the ordinary and should definitely not be associated with a homemade bus build where someone shoehorned a tuned LS engine into a G10. This amazing creation is basically a Corvette C7 more or less given a G10 body mounted on the Corvette chassis. Chassis, front and rear, brakes, engine, drivetrain, gearbox, torque tube and more are Corvette. The car has articles in both Bilsport (2/2023) and Gasoline (2/2022).

This creation should also not be associated with a weekend project as it is a 100% legal and fully functional turn key car with, among other things, ACC, keyless system, stereo, cooled seats, displays and more that work just like in a modern car. In addition to the fact that the car is built with incredible precision and enormous competence, the car has also undergone corner-weighing, which is documented on a picture in the rest of the album. When our auctioneer had the honour of test driving the car at the documentation event, he praised it with the words "it feels just like a Corvette, but you sit slightly higher".

The car has been driven approx. 19000km and has only been owned by Caresto. The car is built to be easily used in everyday life, as the ultimate PR car for the company, or why not as an optimal everyday car for the discerning enthusiast?

Equipment and Options
In the extremely nicely built cabin, we find in terms of equipment, among other things, electrically controlled Corvette seats with both cooling and heating, multifunction steering wheel with cruise control, ACC, infotainment system with navigation and telephony, half cage, and a luggage compartment enough to transport a small household in a driving.

Condition
The car comes in an exquisite condition combined with patina left on the body from 1978. The patina has been sealed with matt clearcoat. Both bodywork, engine and brakes are described as being in excellent condition and there are no remarks on the car or the mechanics. The forged custom rims are shod in Michelin Cup 2 that have only been driven on the road with approx. 80% pattern depth.

Service history
The car will be sold newly inspected and is of course registration inspected as is!
