Paraglider Pilot's Guide - Oludeniz 2021- Important Update!!

This update focuses on the new system that solo pilots need to use to be able to fly from any of the launches on Babadag mountain near Oludeniz.

The changes have come about due to the opening of the cable car (Teleferik) and all launches are now a part of that company. There is an initial set up process that is required and a number of pilots have lost flying time because they were not aware of the changes.

You will be able to access the system in advance of any planned trip so that you have everything that you need in place prior to getting there and will also be aware of what you need to do on each flying day morning.

Many people switch off data roaming on their mobile/cell phones due to costs. If you are one of these I suggest that you organise your flights whilst on wifi and download important screens/documents to your phone for offline use. All of this is explained in the video.

NB: This video is relevant at the time uploaded. The system could change in the future so do check using whatever other means you can if you are intending to visit Oludeniz for paragliding. For my part, I will endeavour to add information here on changes if I become aware of any.
