Life Lately in the Philippines: December 2024 Recap

Hey everyone. Mabuhay.
I’d like to share with you what some of my days in December 2024 has been like here in the Philippines. Lately, I’ve been exploring different types of white teas. This week, I tried out a Ginger Peach white tea for the very first time. The peach aroma is incredibly strong and inviting. I think it would be perfect as an iced tea, so I plan to give that a shot next time.

In addition to that, I recently unboxed something that I ordered online. For several months now, I’ve been considering learning a new language. Finally, I’ve made up my mind to go for it! I got this book and I’m hopeful about picking up some basic knowledge soon.

A few days later, I decided to visit a shop to purchase some artificial flowers. It seemed like a practical choice since they wouldn’t need replacing anytime soon. That same day, I also bought some charming nutcracker ornaments.


The next day, I made my way to Lipa. The drive along the expressway was quite pleasant; however, once I exited, I encountered traffic jams everywhere due to the holiday rush. Fortunately, that evening, I had plans to meet with a friend for dinner. Later that night, while trying freshly squeezed orange juice, my clumsiness got the better of me and I spilled some. To finish off my evening just before midnight, I had a snack of blueberries since I still had some works to do.

A few days later, I finally tried the chickpea dark chocolate drink we bought from The Farm Shop. It was delicious and quite satisfying; it kept me feeling full for an extended period. After enjoying my drink, I took some time to shred documents that I no longer needed. Over the past few months, I had accumulated a significant amount of paperwork. . That evening, I met up with a friend again, and we went out to eat together. We ordered chicken and French fries, which made for a fun meal.

On the final day of 2024, I decided to whip up a batch of potato salad. I rummaged through my fridge and combined whatever ingredients I could find, creating a unique twist on the classic dish. That evening, the sky was alive with fireworks lighting up every corner.
