IRAN - Drive in IRAN around Chalus City 2022 North IRAN Driving Vlog رانندگی در ایران

Chalus is a city in Mazandaran Province in north of Iran. It serves as the county seat for Chalus County.
The bordering counties are Nowshahr to the east, Tonekabon to the west in Mazandaran province and Tehran province to the south. It sits on the Chalus River by the Caspian.
Chalus used to be called “Salus” or “Shalus”. It has a long history of rebels and fights with regional rulers or occupying foreign forces. Chalus used to have a big silk factory that was active from 1936 to 1958 and exported fabrics and other silk products to different countries.
Chalus Road (officially called Road 59) is a very beautiful asphalted road located in Chalus, a suburb of Tehran, the Iranian capital. This road, which displays a variety of sceneries from green to snow clad surroundings to rocky mountains in the north, is usually open all year, but during winter months, it can be closed when the access is not cleared of snow.
