The Canadian Nuclear Isotope Council's (CNIC) Academic Forum is a regularly held meeting that brings together Canada’s academic institutions and isotope industry to foster dialogue and strengthen collaboration across the entire isotope supply chain, with a focus on the academic space. The goal of the Academic Forum is to provide a platform to facilitate and support collaboration, leveraging the combined expertise of both our members in education and industry.
This session features a series of short presentations from CNIC academic members highlighting their institution’s work in the isotope space. Speakers provide updates on emerging research, training programs and new course offerings, research priorities and educational initiatives, while also offering an analysis of activities in their respective regions. Each presentation outlines opportunities for collaboration and identifies the types of support needed from the isotope industry to help build the next generation of skilled professionals needed for future isotope expansion.
