SWEDISH Christmas deco trends 2024, thrifting at 2nd hand, H&M Home, Søstrene Grene, Lagerhaus

As I have a extra day off as my teacher called in sick on Friday and my sons school is closed we and the grand parents go by bus to Vaxholm to go to a nice playground there and to walk around.
On Saturday I finally made it to the churches second hand store that is supposed to be really good. I take my time to check everything out but I am not a fan of second hand things that are already used by someone else.
So as this was a not very satisfying shopping experience I walk to the mall for some shopping and see that the stores now started selling Christmas decorations. This year though the weather is still much to warm and we are blessed with beautiful sunny autumn days still, so I am not in a Christmas decorations mood just yet. Instead I finally buy a couple of marble bowls that I have been eying for months and two scented candles that smell really nice and I also really like the marbled glass they come in.
That makes my bag very heavy so I stop by at home to leave these things and then go back to check out another shop before also doing some grocery shopping.
I find a porchetta in the supermarket that I will make for dinner. Also here the best is to slow cook the meat on 180 degrees or even less for 4 hours so the meat becomes tender and the fat melts away.
I also found a frozen duck which was on extra price so I will defrost it in the fridge for some days and then make it on when I don’t have school Wednesday is my plan.
