This year's event was hosted by Sung Si Kyung, 2NE1's Sandara Park and Super Junior's Kim Heechul. The SBS Gayo Daejun included special performances and never-before-seen collaborations featuring: Girls' Generation, EXO, Lee Hyori, CL, IU, INFINITE, B2ST, 2PM, miss A, 4minute, KARA, SISTAR, K.Will, TEEN TOP, Girl's Day, A Pink, Ailee, Lee Seung Chul, SHINee, SECRET, T-Ara, Dynamic Duo, 2NE1, Crayon Pop,...

On December 29th, Girls' Generation performed in the "2013 SBS Gayo Daejun", SBS's large annual end-of-year music show. Girls' Generation had recently performed in KBS's "Gayo Daechukje" on December 27th.

The "2013 SBS Gayo Daejun" opened with a rendition of "Sleigh Ride" by members of multiple groups and soloists. Though Girls' Generation did not participate, Taeyeon, Yuri, Tiffany, Sunny, Hyoyeon and Seohyun can be spotted in the background in the artists' waiting area. (U can watch it in the MC part).

Later, Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun gave a performance of Beyonce's "Crazy in Love". The three members of Girls' Generation -- TTS dressed in white outfits for the special stage, which also included members of EXO and instrumentalists in the background. TaeTiSeo were stunning during their jazz age cover of Beyoncé's hit. Members of EXO aided with instrumentals on the song including Chanyeol on drums. The performance was classic, unique, and one of the standouts of the evening. EXO was heavily featured throughout the night both in the drama parodies and in their appearances on their label mate's stage.

Lastly, Girls' Generation ended the performances with "Express 999″ and "I Got A Boy". Though again unfortunately forced to perform without Yoona, the group looked stunning while dressed in black and gold outfits.

Finally, the show ended with a clip of SBS's "Friendship Project", "You Are A Miracle", which featured Sunny, Tiffany, Yuri, and Seohyun among many other artists.

After the show, Sunny tweeted her thanks to those who attended and watched Girls' Generation's performance:

As we reach the final days of 2013, Korea's popular primetime channels SBS, KBS and MBC were hosted a multitude of award shows to wrap up the year with a bang.

SBS Gayo Daejun always delivers some of the best performances of the numerous end of the year music programs. The four hour performance highlighted the top K-Pop acts of 2013 and featured numerous appearances.

2013 SBS Gayo Daejun was definitely an event which was not to be missed. While YG Entertainment artists dominated 2012 SBS Gayo Daejun, this year SM Entertainment took over the show. While Super Junior and TVXQ were not represented during the night, EXO were amongst the main stars of the night. Girls Generation capped off the night and SHINee, as well as f(x) delivered some of the most solid performances proving that 2013 was SM Entertainment's year to shine at SBS Gayo Daejun.
